Linda Lewis - Linda is a ceramic sculptor who creates medium-scale, earthy, textural works that incorporate the human form with found objects. Her figures give a hint of story or statement. Texture and surfaces give the figure life and enhance the fragility of the figure, allowing the viewer to wonder and ask questions about what they are viewing.
Bruce Morrison - Native Iowan Bruce Morrison’s interest in all scopes of nature stem from his early years along the Des Moines river valley in north central Iowa. Although interested in all Iowa’s natural heritage, birds were always foremost in his mind. The landscape and its flora and fauna are the subjects of Morrison’s photographs, oil paintings, drawings and serigraphs.
Mark Rushton - Mark Rushton is a laptop-based musician
and arranger from eastern Iowa. Rushton’s recordings are composed
on computer using real instrumentation, field recordings, and effects. His
music is available on commercially released CDs, through digital download
services and now through www.buyiowaart.com.
Art Strong - Art has been a teacher and a working artist
all his adult life. As a ceramic potter, he finds the raku process of finishing
the clay exciting and dramatic. Its metallic glazes and smoky black clay
bodies lend themselves well to his unconventional, non-utilitarian forms.
