Iowa Great Places Free Grant Writing Workshops
Communities
that submitted offers to become an Iowa Great Place are now invited to take part
in a free grant writing workshop.
These one-day sessions will help make cultural organizations or agencies “grant ready” by putting together a comprehensive and organized plan that will create a library of potential projects that can easily and quickly be converted into comprehensive grant applications. The workshop will also explore potential grant sources and grant writing tips and recommended processes intended to maximize your chances for receiving a grant. Workshops will be led by Lance Noe, instructor for the College of Business and Public Administration and the Educational Coordinator for Professional Studies at Drake University.
Don’t wait to sign up! Due to high demand, one seat is reserved for each of the 146 places that sent invitations to Great Places last July. Registration deadline is April 10. Workshops will be held April 26 in Waterloo, May 1 in Storm Lake and May 3 in Ottumwa.
