Cultural Express Programs Available
The
Department of Cultural Affairs' Cultural Express Program and
the Iowa Arts Council will provide $8,000 in funding for
museums and libraries to bring in a series of live two-hour
programs of Iowa traditions and table-top exhibits focusing on
Danish, Meskwaki, Lao and Asian Indian folklife, as well as Gospel, Blues, Latino
and Old Time Anglo-Scots-Irish traditional music.
Go to the Web site to see the details regarding an RFP (Request for Proposal) for museums and libraries to apply to host all nine programs and exhibits in their communities and in nearby institutions for several months.

Endowment for the Arts.
