Smile Pretty for 2005 Camera Corps!
For
the second consecutive year, 32 4-H students from across the state will be out
and about the Iowa State Fair, August 11-21, snapping candid photos of fair-goers.
Led by Iowa professional photographer Tim Florer, the 32 high school-aged students will be on the fairgrounds August 16-18 to photograph the everyday activity of the people, animals, events and food that make up the Iowa State Fair.
The photographers will also be conducting oral interviews with their subjects
on their “State Fair Favorites.”
The
film from each day’s work will be processed overnight and selected photos
will be on exhibit in the Iowa Arts Jam’s Arts Under the Tent near the Cultural
Center. Selected photos will also be on display in the 4-H Building and in the
Photo Salon.
The 2005 Camera Corps is sponsored by Nationwide Agribusiness and 4-H with
support from the Iowa Arts Council, the Iowa State Fair and Tim Florer.
