August 31: Performing Artists Roster Application Deadline
The Iowa Arts Council is dedicated to providing Iowans the opportunity to experience the arts in their own communities. The artists, ensembles, and companies represented in this resource are many of Iowa’s best. We hope to grow the roster by adding new talent every year. Get more information and apply.

October 1: Major Grants Application Deadline
Includes Artist Grants; Artist Residency Grants; Arts in Education Grants; Conference, Workshop and Forum Grants; Folk and Traditional Arts Grants; Organization Grants; and Public Art Grants. See the Funding Overview page for a brief description of each grant program and links to more information.

The Iowa Arts Council conducts grant writing workshops throughout Iowa for artists, educators, communities and organizations who are seeking funding support for arts-related activities that benefit Iowans.
