1. What is your favorite word?

"Patina" — The beautiful effects of age, wear.

2. What is your least favorite word?
"Hate" — I hear my children use it and I hate it.

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
The connection between nature and my family.

4. What turns you off?
Selfishness, negativity.

5. What sound or noise do you love?
Leaves rustling in the wind.

6. What sound or noise do you hate?
The muffled sound of clay blowing-up because of steam/moisture in a kiln when fired too rapidly. It sounds like someone is being suffocated.

A jazz pianist.

8. What profession would you not like to do?
Become a banker.

9. Who's the biggest influence on your life?
