Grant Workshops and Office on the Road

Schedule for 2010 Workshops, Office on the Road & Webinars

The Grant Workshops on the above schedule will focus on our Iowa Arts Council Mini Project Grants.  We will schedule one Major Grant Workshop and one Major Grant Workshop Webinar per year, approximately two months before the deadline which is April 1st.

Mini Grant Workshops consist of a PowerPoint presentation with information on the application process, a review of guidelines, tips, examples as well as an interactive mock-panel review of actual Mini Grant applications.  You will be able to ask questions throughout the workshop, however if you would like to meet with someone on the Arts Council staff, please either sign up for an Office on the Road meeting (if applicable), or set up a meeting separate from the workshop.

Office on the Road offers the opportunity to meet with IAC staff – about whatever topics constituents desire -- without having to come to Des Moines.  Arts Council staff members come to your community and are available to provide technical assistance, project planning advice, etc. to artists and arts organizations.  Appointments are scheduled at 20-minute intervals.  Please check the schedule above for dates.

Our workshops are free and open to the public – but please register online (just to the left) so we can be sure to have enough materials for all participants.
