IAC seeks input about arts in Iowa
Survey results will help guide IAC programs
(DES MOINES, Iowa) — The Iowa Arts Council is seeking input from Iowans about how they view the arts in Iowa, and their priorities for how their state arts agency works to support the arts. Responses from an on-line survey will inform the content of the agency’s new strategic plan.
“The arts impact everybody in Iowa, whether you are a working artist, a high school student or a member of a community that has or doesn’t have an active arts council,” Iowa Arts Council Administrator Mary Sundet Jones said. “We are asking Iowans to share their thoughts and suggestions about all the arts in Iowa, and tell us what they believe the Iowa Arts Council should focus on as we move into the future. We want to be responsive to the needs and wishes of Iowans, and this input will help guide us through our strategic planning process.”
The on-line survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will be available Friday through Oct. 28, 2010, at www.iowaartscouncil.org. For more information, contact Sundet Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org or 515-281-4641.
