IAC cancels Office on the Road and grant writing workshop in Red Oak

(DES MOINES, Iowa) — The Iowa Arts Council has canceled an “Office on the Road” and a grant writing workshop scheduled for Wednesday at the Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak.

IAC said low response prompted the cancellation and the events may be rescheduled at a later date. Visit www.iowaartscouncil.org for more information.

During Office on the Road, IAC staff is available for 20-minute sessions to offer assistance and guidance with arts-related project planning and grant programs.

During the workshop, IAC staff presents information about grant programs for artists, educators and community leaders who want to learn about the application process, receive guidance about funding priorities and guidelines, hear tips for writing grants and participate in a mock panel review of actual grants submitted to IAC.

More information about Office on the Road and grant writing workshops is available by contacting IAC’s Sarah Ekstrand at sarah.ekstrand@iowa.gov or 515-281-4657, or by visiting www.iowaartscouncil.org.
