Art grants workshop in Dubuque rescheduled for March 10
(DES MOINES, Iowa)— The Iowa Arts Council will present grant writing information for artists, educators, organizations and community leaders at a workshop in Dubuque March 10, 2008.
The workshop, postponed earlier this week due to weather-related issues, will be hosted by the City of Dubuque and the City’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Advisory Commission 1-4 p.m. March 10, 2008 at the Bell Tower Theater, 2728 Asbury Road in Dubuque. Call 563-588-3377 for more information. Following the workshop, there will be an informal networking reception 4-5:30 p.m. at Fountain Park Event Center, 2728 Asbury Road. Both events are free and open to the public.
Grant program managers will present information about grant programs offered by the Iowa Arts Council. Participants will learn about the application process, receive guidance about funding priorities and guidelines, and hear tips for writing grants.
