To apply for the Big Yellow School Bus grant, please complete the application form below and the Iowa Arts Council Service Contract. The Service Contract is found by clicking on the "Go to next section" link at the bottom of the application form.

Complete the application form and print it from your computer, then have the school principal sign it. Do the same for the Service Contract. Leave no blank lines!

Your application must include all of the following parts to be approved and processed.

1. Application Form

2. Copies of letters or emails to Legislators

3. Service Contract (signed in blue ink)

4. Substitute W-9 Vendor Update Form (this is necessary for processing of your grant check)

Faxed applications are not accepted.

To be eligible for this grant you are required to send an email or letter to your local legislators stating that you are applying for a Big Yellow School Bus grant to take this trip. This allows policy makers to understand the importance of these funds in the Iowa Arts Council's budget. You must attach a copy of your email or letter to this application when you submit it. You can find the names and contact information of your legislators at www4.legis.state.ia.us/find-leg/.
